clan leaders, site store, site edits oh my!

considering there is only about 5-7 members on the site i felt closing it today was fine and most everyone seemed to agree they wanted 'leaders' and a store. which means ill have to edit the site a little. which isnt a problem besides the fact the site wont let me without keep sayinng proxy error but i notified a staff about it. so first thing to address is CLAN LEADERS honestly im iffy on this. what ive decided with this is that we use more of, what valk suggested, as a more symbolic leader. someone who everyone looks up to. if you have any suggestions how that person is chosen i was thinking since we have a site store its a purchase and with that instead of just one clan leader its like the 'heads' which are no more than 3-4 spots open and rotated every so often possibly. let me know what you think of that. or the clan members can 'vote' or someone can just apply and ill write up a 'mandatory' to be a head.

now to talk about SITE SHOP. this has to be the biggest thing. heres valks & amitys ideas:

Companion- 1500 (You now have earned a pet that has your element abilites. Minor abilites ONLY that are usually found in small children of that element. Companion also must be a small animal the largest being a wolf-dog hybrid)

Mastery level one (only for the element you have)- 3000 (You have mastered the first level to mastery of your element! Congratulations!)

Mastery level Two(only for the element you have)- 3500 (You have mastered the top level of mastery of your element! Congratulations!)

Cross-breeding-5500 points (You are able to have a child with another element even if they are deadly to you and can therefore have Mixed Element Child, If you purchase this before the child then the mixed element child will cost 3000-2000 points due to the fact you nor the child many survive the cross breeding/ birthing.)

Mixed Element Child- 5000 points (You are able to "cross-breed" with another element and have a child with element of their mother mainly and some from their father)

Mixed Element Child Ability Chooser- 10000 points (After permission to cross-breed elements, you are able to pick where your child get its full element from and it minor element from)

Mixed Element Child Mastery for Both Elements- Can only be won in contest (Can only be won once and your character who has inherited both elements now has the ability to master not only the one they inherited the most but also the minor one. Minor one far more difficult for them.)

Wings -Air - Small wings that fan out from your back, not solid a hand may pass through. They flutter this way and that like the current of air on a misty morning. Fire - Duo wings the color of burning embers tower above you, they can not burn someone but their still shimmers a warmth from their prescience.(etc)

having mastery levels as shop objects takes out the possibility of your characters to be made with mastery level (which shouldnt be allowed anyways or is very minimum)

other buy able items i have added a code to the site that will let me customize your names (only for member accounts) if you want a shadow under your name or to be multicolored since that account is for OOC and just fun stuff.

also since everyone will most likely have at least 2 accounts there will be the ability to transfer money but only a certain amount & you can only buy things for that one account (with exception of creations) i dont know if that makes sense so ill set up a senario:
So I have my MINTY member account & i have ELISABETTA account & JESSE account. I can transfer ALL my 'MINTY MONEY' to either accounts (since its a member account and youll only be getting max 3 points or dollars or whatever for OOC posts which is hwat youll mostly be using this for) BUT to exchange points to Jesse is only max like 20 and if you want Jesse to have say a compainion and it costs 200 and he only has 170 you can give him 20 but hell have to get the other points on his own. AKA you have to make him more active and post with him. Make sense? for character creation just send all the points to the member account & well subtract from there. I hope this all makes sense. If it doesnt I can explain further but itll make more sense once it starts rolling.

another buy able item is boards. your character can buy a board for whatever a store or if they have a place they want in venice ie. a skating rink or another bar or something.

more OOC buy ables could include a week of advertising where you can get a link in the navi or as an 'announcement' post or 'sticky' depends to advertise your site or something. although were all dedicated AFTER DUSKERZ right;) haha

allowing the store will allow members to open up their own mini stores for graphics or posting tables or whatever they have to give maybe lessons on roleplaying or something I dont know.

alright thats the most I got right now. So if you have any suggestions please comment them. Tell what you think we should see and how much and how much should each post be worth etc. give me your thoughts and ill set it up as soon as possible because in order to do so I need to edit the 'elements' post which is a very important thread on this site because it gives all the info.

Clan leaders

Alright I like the whole head(s) idea and here are some add ons. So there are three leaders. One who is rational(logical of bunch), the other is emotional (takes into the emotion of all elements mainly their people), and one who is the symbol (proudly respected and very good with strategies when it comes to war.) So here as some suggested names for the certain leaders and descripitions of what they do.

Saggio (wise one); this person would be very logical when it comes into the account of punishment and things such as "this what the law says" and such. They will also be known to have good advice and many come to them when they feel they are lost. Know all the history of the clan and will choose on person to be the next in line. They remind their people of their past mistakes and to always think before they act. They are the "clonk" on the head for the overly impulsive or overly emotional characters within their clan.

Guaritore di spiriti (healer of spirits); this will be the person who protects the emotions and soul of their people. They will always remind the other two heads the emotions that could be stirred within their people by certain decision. Very connected in the ways of the elements usually the first to master their element (some have even been able to master two but that is super rare), people usually go to them for blessings when trying to attempt for the mastery of their element or just a blessing in general. Their are the spiritual guider and keep hope within their people.

Equilibrio Simbolico (symbolic balance); this person is the symbol of the clan, usually the one who announces special ceremonies and such. They host the grand tradition parties and remind people that they are their element alone. They are usually someone whose personality mimics the element themselves but with a healthy balance (not just the negative or the positive). They also help plan strategies of war when it takes place and are usually the most friendly and well respected as they have done noble deeds for the clan. If this person was to die without a heir the clan would be seen to perish as they have lost the way of their element. Therefore usually they are protected highly in battle and usually who the people fight for, more commonly a female but can be male as well.

How can I become one?

Now these figures can be demoted by the people if the people feel they are unworthy of their position after three months of their experience. Test are invovled to see who shall fulfill each position (if not demoted than every year and on the certain day their clan was born, this may vary with clan) and the person within the position at that moment can choose the challenge and decide out of five people who shall be next. They have from the day their clan was born to next sunrise to choose and have everyone complete their challenge(s). That being said, a vote shall be held for who can participate in the Test to be one of the head figures, you must be 18 and older and have least mastered the level below the first mastery level in your element. For clarification for Fire you must be able to Shoot Fireballs, Air you must be able to ability to create wind without it being present, Earth you must be able to grow flowers from ones body, and finally for Water you must be able to pull water from what seem to be nothing (no body of water nearby).

Some Mastery Levels Aren't In Stores

I was considering there only be those top two mastery levels in the store to make things most interesting and for one to go up in mastery levels you'd have to have a certain amount of threads where you've been "training". Note training can be you fighting someone or actually having the other person use the power on you and you attempting to use it back several times but failing (On final post you can succeed if it is the final thread you need). Or you even asking an elder to describe how they gained the power(asking a elder can only be used once if the thread need is more than one).

For example all new born powers don't need thread but the power following after like Water Walls, you'll need One thread and a minimum of 6 posts in character.
The next power, To pull water from nothing you'll need two
threads a minimum of 12 in character post have to be 350 words plus each post.
To gain first level of mastery without buying it, you'll need three threads and a minimum of 15 in character post, have to be 400 words plus every other post.
To gain the final level of mastery without buying it, you'll need four threads and 15 in character post 450 words plus for every post.

This may be a bit much but I don't want everyone gaining the powers so easily in like two post, of course you can change it however you like but it shouldn't be that simple and it perhaps could motivate people to actually post more with their character when it comes to "training" so it will actually be elemental fantasy not a human romance role play with people who have a little bit of power. But these are only my personal thoughts, so rule them out do whatever you like. I'm just here to suggest.

first of all, thank you Valk for all these beautiful suggestions! all of them sound great so far!if anyone else has more items to add please let us know and we could possibly add them!.

second, I have set up the 'money hack' due to the fact it goes in the mini profile and previously out miniprofile set up didnt show it ive taken down the miniprofile hack for a short time so I can fix the coding so you can view how many 'euros' you have. im also yet to find how to edit it to customize the boards to the amount of money you receive & i have to set up the stop & write out the system & edit the elements page. So please bare with me! also i wont be here till monday so if someone would like to step up and help me out that would be wonderful i can make you a g-mod for the weekend and if youd like to start working and just in case anyone makes characters or someone links us that can be kept up to date
