The sun was turning the sky the color of blood and oranges, it all reflected on the waters, setting the surrounding buildings on fire and turning the air gold. It was mesmerizing. Usually Allegra would feel quite uncomfortable so close to the water, but the breeze playing with her hair and refreshing her face was perfect and the sunset was taking all her worries from her busy mind. That was the main problem of the city, it was built above the water, there was water everywhere she went, making it the most uncomfortable place to leave for a Cielo clan member. She couldn’t imagine how it would be for the Fiamma clan and to a certain point she really didn’t care.
As she sighed and the sun finally set in the horizon shivers run through her body. It wasn’t cold; it was the idea of it being night and dark in the city what sent chills down her spine. Allegra hated darkness, though that it’s something she would never admit out loud or let anybody know. Acclaimed city of mystery and romance, of exquisite and unique beauty, all Allegra could see was a dusty old city, sad and sinking more into the deep waters of the ocean with every passing year. It was most impractical, with narrow streets and dead ends everywhere, easy to get lost with a wrong turn of street and it was always so humid with the water so close it was very difficult to get any fresh air. She couldn’t see why tourist and couples would pay a fortune for an hour ride in a Gondola surrounded by a not-very-romantic brown colored water with rubbish floating everywhere and another fifty gondolas surrounding them. It lacked all originality and romance for her, maybe because she was born there and also because she didn’t believe in romance anymore. This city didn’t hold any mystery for her, or any secrets.
She walked faster as dark blue and black filled the sky like spilled ink. She leaved in a house nearby, the Grand Canal might lack all the magic and charm and the vision of water directly outside her window might not be the most calming sight for her but it was all worth it when she opened the eyes to the morning sun and was literally soaking in light. It was beautiful and calming and warm, and that was exactly what she needed, also, it was the best place to get some air, the narrow and darks streets of Venice didn’t let much air in the houses. She had everything; light, air and privacy but she was never totally alone, as the noise coming from the window kept her company. Her mother wasn’t very happy that she had moved out of the family house in Piazza San Marco, but she was close enough for her not make a big fuss out of it. Cielo Clan people tended to live all near each other, in case anyone needed any help, and not many of them resided in the mansion. They looked out for each other so it wasn’t strange to have someone popping in to check on you basically every day. It was comforting to know they weren’t completely alone but leaving them to their own business.
Allegra gave a last look at the Canal and the bridge as she made her way home, thinking of stopping at some random take away to get something for dinner. On a day like this, when she has spent her waking hours at the library surrounded by the comforting smell of old books and quiet people, she really missed the company of another human being, some intelligent conversation, someone to share the dinner. But she was alone by choice and so there was not much of a point moaning about it.

PYRE Vladimir really had to get a handle on himself, his little companions in that head of his were starting to get a tad bit reckless and if he didn't get a cap they would start showing themselves little by little. He had noticed that when he was speaking with Betta. He smiled faintly at the thought of the ice like girl, she was far too please with herself at times but who wouldn't be? She was just like him it seemed and he wasn't certain if he liked or disliked such a thing. He shook his head humming as he wandered around the streets not to any particular place. That was until his stomach growled at him violently. He hadn't eaten since this morning considers it was only one biscottis and he usually ate seven before he was even half way full. It seemed that he had been so caught up with Betta food hadn't even crossed his mind. In fact nothing had really crossed his mind unless it involved whatever they had been speaking about. Which was a variety of things she held a skillful tongue which made him wonder how else it would work if it happened to be on him. He shrugged that thought away, he shouldn't be considering her like that all though he had many reasons to she was unique and therefore he was to treat her differently because of that uniqueness. Thus all this thoughts of Betta was probably the reason why he caused the collision he had only moments ago. Vladimir hadn't meant to walk into the petite female, that was his fault for not pay attention besides she had saw him coming hadn't she? He bounced backwards upon impact of the little body he met unknowingly. She had lean backwards as if to fall and before she could fall to her intense pain his hand slid to the small of her back supporting her. She was light weight and that was a good thing seeing as when he reached out for her he hadn't even gotten his balance together. Startled both of them he didn't glance at her eyes until he had settled her back onto her feet properly. Cracking a faint smile as an apology he absorbed her child like face large eyes, thin nose, high cheek bones and lips with a narrow chin. She reminded him of a little girl he had saw within his own clan, he knew immediately she wasn't from his, especially by how light she was. She had to be from air or earth, but air seemed to suit her better so he settled with that conclusion. "Dusk dreaming before you really dream?" He muttered in amusement, after all it wasn't day but dusk and it would soon be sleep that took the real dreams. She was smaller than Betta in height but held the same tiny little figure to an extent. He arched an eye brow at the immediate connected he made to this unknown girl to Betta. If this is little spell she would have on him, he'd definitely be back to figure out everything he planned. NOTES | Someone is stuck on the fire girl o.O |

Her mind was her greatest companion and it never failed to produce a better life inside her head than the one she was really living. Venice held no magic for her so she seek refuge in the exotic places her creativity could provide; the amazing views of the Caldera in Greece, or the rice terraces in Bali. Everywhere but where she really was, and this time it played to her disadvantage. Of course, daydreaming and wrapped in the fresh shadow of a lost beach along Bali’s coastline, she didn’t see him coming. It didn’t matter how tall or big he was, for her he was nothing more than another body and so she had effectively blocked him of her vision until they bumped into each other, pulling her out of her beautiful fantasy. Allegra frowned, contradicted by this turn of events and the unwelcome proximity and it was then when she realized his hand was on the small of her back and he was saving her from a painful fall. She ought to be grateful, after all she could have gone home with a bruise, but she couldn’t find it in herself to actually feel anything like it. Raising her eyes to meet his, she noticed straight away that the warm coming from his body wasn’t human and far from her clan. He was… handsome, the features of his faces were pleasant and his body looked fit. To Allegra, though, that didn’t make much of a difference, he could have been the ugliest guy in the world and she wouldn’t have notice, she had no interest for them anymore. It was something in his eyes, some kind of sparkly intelligence and dark humor that called all the rational places of her mind to do her best effort to be the lady she was raised to be. So she took a step back, to the safety of her personal space and switched on her charming self.
Until he had the misfortune of opening his mouth. “why, can’t you tell?” Allegra answered with a small, dry smile of her own. “Sometimes dreams are far better than the surrounding reality.” Rearranging her white organza dress and straightening herself she reminded herself that such boy was a Fiamma Clan member and by the looks of it far more powerful than her. Also, said member just saved her from falling and there was no logical reason to be impolite. “Excuse my manners.” she said, flashing him a smile that could have melted ice. “I find it unpleasant to be dragged from my safe haven in such a way.” Allegra looked at him up and down, studying him carefully and trying to make something out of him. He didn’t look very special, truth be told, but it was the… air around him what attracted her attention in the first place, that’s why she had to look beyond the wall that was his exterior to see what was he hiding. “Though, if you allow me to say so, you weren’t exactly here either, right?”
Allegra didn’t like to mingle with strangers, especially Fiamma Clan strangers… there was the rational part of her brain shouting at her to run away and the other part of her brain was telling her to engage herself in conversation with a stranger because he had something interesting in his manners. In the way he had been daydreaming also, because, let’s face it, she was small and all but she was hardly hard to miss, Allegra had that way around people, when she wanted she could keep them away. This time, though, she had been seeking company, maybe her thoughts had been answered in such a way. It wasn’t common for her to bump into someone after all, and it was less common for her to bump into such a radical element, as she kept always an alarm in her brain that made her turn around if she happened to encounter someone who wasn’t human. She kept herself away, from the fights, the meaningless war, the hate between Clans for reason long forgotten in history. She had much better things to do, like daydreaming. Looking at her surroundings she realized they were quite close to the water, a place Fiamma clan members avoided for… obvious reasons. It was strange that, from all the places, she had to bump into one of them so near the Grand Canal. “What is a Fiamma member doing around this area?” She said before she could stop herself.

DON'T LIGHT ME IF YOU AREN'T READY FOR THE BURNS YOU'LL RECEIVING. CAUSE ONCE I START THERE IS NO STOPPING. PYRE Vladimir's brows furrowed at her tone fluttery and almost as if in a demand of immediate respect. He cocked his head at her when she spoke on why she had been day dreaming. Well he hadn't expected a direct reply but that was possibly because the last female he had been talking too had been dancing around the answers leaving him pondering over her even now. But Vladimir had always liked directness and it made him feel far better when people could be upfront with him although he wouldn't exactly be upfront with people about things unless he wanted them to know. See you couldn't get close to Vladimir without him wanting you to be there, if you were there you better retrace your steps and consider why you might be there because usually it wasn't good. His eyes followed her hands as she pulled now the hemp of her dress to cover those shiny thighs. The rest of his gaze followed down her legs before scanning upwards once more back to her face as she spoke. He could tell by her voice she wasn't exactly pleased to be running into a Fiamma member and truth be told no one did especially if she knew his given "title" then again those titles hardly left the clans door unless it was mentioned in hushed tones. She did need to excuse her manners that tone wasn't at all appealing and if she kept it up he'd be more likely to snap at her and turn off his charm to show her his vicious side. Yet he had patience so he allowed her little snappy words to hardly affect him. When she mentioned the fact he hadn't been here either he didn't respond, if she was going to come off with such an icy little feel he didn't necessarily feel he had to reply to her. But her next question made him chuckle a bit, Just because he was of fire didn't mean he didn't like the water. Vladimir actually liked to swim he just never mentioned it to anyone not to mention he kept a few Acqua clan females at call when needed. Vladimir was one of those characters that despite the differences he could get a few of them to tolerate him. It was typical for anyone to assume such but it still bothered him perhaps because it was by an air clan member who usually stuck their noses up their asses and fled from anything that could be suggested to seem like a battle. They had always had this “I’m better than you” attitude even from jump while the fire clan had taken the time to develop the attitude of “don’t fuck with us.” It was simple and it was possibly why the air clan member stuck so close together, I mean who else would put up with the bourgeoisie asses? Certainly not he, of course Vladimir was cocky but he wouldn’t be disrespectful to someone he didn’t know he was smarter than that. Not mention he had saved her from falling on her ass when he could have been the normal Fiamma clan member and let her drop. He shook his head at her question and whistled a little. "Walking and you were walking while dreaming. I didn't know I could only belong to one area last time I checked I was still human and had the ability to go wherever I pleased. But then again I guess when you meet someone other than air all you see if there element."NOTES | THIS POST SUCKS I HAVE NO MUSE |

She would rather be on her own, with her thoughts and daydreaming. It wasn’t usually her style to be rude to another human being though, she knew how to be polite and charming and civilized but she had the feeling that wasn’t going to really work with the guy in front of her. It wasn’t that he was a Fiamma Clan member; it was more the fact that he was a male, and she disliked that even more. Not to mention she had been dragged out of her beach somewhere in Bali to be right here, in the humid proximity of the Grand Canal, on her way home at dusk which meant it was going to be dark soon enough. She could tell he wasn’t pleased to be talked in such a way, as if he had earned some respect just for being… whoever he was. She wasn’t really sure if she wanted to get to know him better or not, he was a Fiamma member after all and though she was sort of a peacekeeper she had limits. His answer made her smile, a true smile this time and she felt her body start to relax. It was the moment guilt kicked in. Allegra wasn’t raised to be judgmental, or rude. No, and she had been pretty rude to him, he had saved her, after all, it was her turn to make up for it if it wasn’t too late. “I’m sorry. I am usually not like this, but I’ve been spending the past few days by myself and I lost practice. I do think before I talk, though it doesn’t really seem like right now.”
Cielo people tended to spend time by themselves and Allegra had a lot of things to think about these past days. She wanted to get away from everyone, even if it was only for a little while, and especially from the city. She had received a letter from a distant relative who was currently living in Paris and was inviting her to spend some time there. Her first thought had been packing and leaving, immediately, but then her mom’s voice had filled her head reminding her how she just simply couldn’t go away, with all the work they had to do. She pushed the thoughts aside, right now she had a guy in front of her she had to take care of, an uncomfortable encounter where she hadn’t been at her finest and she needed to fix it. “Well, I just don’t see the element. But of course I can tell you’re not completely human.” She smiled at him. Fiamma or not, he was still another living, breathing person, just like her, and that’s why she had always been neutral right? What was she doing now, then? Hiding like a little girl just because he was Fiamma and well, they didn’t have the best of fame of all the elements, they were temperamental and prone to use their powers in a… violent manner. She didn’t encounter them too often, since she tended to avoid going everywhere except for her small corner of the city. Her safety net, her area of comfort, where her apartment was and the surrounding streets up until Cielo Manor. It would be very strange to see her venturing farther than that. “This is not a place very frequented by Fiamma members, in fact, you’re one of the very few I’ve seen around this much amount of water, that’s all.”
She shrugged. She hadn’t pretend to offend him with the question, certainly, spending time with just her mind was taking its toll on her human skills to mingle with people, with weren’t much to begin with. “I didn’t mean to offend you with it. Wouldn’t you think it strange if I were wandering around the glassblowing fabrics?” There were a lot of those in Venice, fabrics and small shops were it was hot and cramped and there was fire everywhere. It was beautiful and original and very fine, and she liked to buy the final product, like vases or lamps to decorate her small apartment, but she would rarely frequent those places, in fact she would rather send someone in her place to buy such items. Even though she was a neutral part of the historic fight between clans, Allegra would consider herself very stupid if she stepped in willingly into territory she was very weak against. “Thank you. For saving me from a painful fall.” She said, changing topics into safer conversation, it seemed whatever she was going to say it was going to offend him today, though to her opinion he was taking her innocent comments very personally, but she had been craving company after all, she didn’t want to scare the only one who happened to bump into her and she still had that feeling, the feeling he was going to be an interesting company, someone different. For her mind that was a very refreshing change. “I didn’t have the pleasure to meet you before. I’m Allegra.” She extended her small, delicate hand towards him.
