♔ she is love
& shes all i need
"i'm heading out, alright?" her soft but cheerful voice rang through out the house. She shrugged without getting a response. It was seven o'clock in the morning. For most people they are sound asleep at seven on a saturday. But not for lucia. she was a morning person. 'rising with the sun' her family would tease her. she just loved how quiet and fresh everything was in the morning. slipping on her black flats she wore a casual floral sundress, like she usually did on the weekend. Her hair was lightly curled flowing over her shoulders.
she walked out of the small town house with a bag of candy in one hand and few bucks in the pocket of her dress pocket. she looked around. the streets were quiet. everyone was asleep; that was everyone but lucia. she listened to the chirping of birds as they fluttered from tree to tree. lucia made her way down the empty streets softly humming to herself. she passed a few people offering them a cheerful smile. some of them returned them, some just ignored her smile, and some gave her a grouchy look in response. lucia didnt let it bother her. she offered everyone a smile because she figured she was one of the first people that these strangers saw in the morning. she wanted them to start their day off as cheerful as she was.
she didnt really have a destination. she was just walking around to walk. she liked walking just to walk around. she strong believed in the saying 'its about the journey not the destination'. round the corner of her street she kept walking taking random twists and turns till she found herself at franco park.
a wide smile spread across her pink lips as she walked deeper into the large park. she smiled at the passing joggers who seemed to be off in their own worlds. lucia walked till she approached one of many large oak trees. she gently pressed a hand to the tree closing her eyes for a moment. she was sensing the tree. it seemed to be well taken care of. she nodded approval. she silently asked the tree if it was ok for her to climb it. the tree sent her positive vibes and a wide grin passed her lips. she glanced around making sure no one was around, she didnt want them to look up her dress as she climbed, before grabbing onto the branches till she got till she was content. she was about a quarter up the large tree lounging on a large branch with her fet up and her ankles crossed.
she sighed sitting back against the tree looking over the park. everyone seemed off in their own world. jogging or just taking strolls. most of the people out at this hour were a good at least ten years older than her.
she held the bag of sweets in her hand setting it on her lap. she took out a lollipop unwrapping it and putting it in her mouth savoring the blue raspberry flavor hitting her taste buds, "perfect way to start the morning" she thought to herself as she relaxed into the tree looking out over the large peaceful park. she scooted a little just as her bag of sweets went falling to the ground she let out a soft gasp frowning as she watched her goodies fall to the ground.
